The work your team does by hand becomes a system that runs itself.

How we work together

Every project starts in one of three frames. The scope adapts to yours — from a one-week addition to a system that runs for years. The way we work stays the same.

What we cover

Processes and systems we know from the inside

This is not a list we copied. These are processes used every day by a company of more than eighty people — and we digitised them ourselves before offering the work to anyone else.

Processes

Order to cash — quote, contract, order, delivery note, invoice/Procurement and approvals with multi-step sign-off/HR and operational documents/Management reporting on a schedule/Archive with an audit trail — who changed what, and when

Systems

ERP and accounting/CRM and sales pipeline/Document management and e-signature/Mail, calendars, and shared drives/Spreadsheets and databases that quietly run part of the business/Project and task tools

Scale

Systems with role-based permissions, an audit trail, and row-level security. We build the same way for a team of five as for an organisation with several departments — the difference is scope, not approach.

Capabilities

What we can actually build

Plenty of studios can ship a website. The difference shows up when systems have to talk to each other and keep running without anyone watching.

01

Integrations

OAuth 2.0 to third-party platforms, with token refresh and secure storage/REST and GraphQL clients/Webhooks and two-way sync/Data migration off a legacy system without downtime

02

03

Artificial intelligence

04

Foundations

Data modelling, migrations, row-level security/Authentication and access roles/Dashboards for non-technical users/Installable apps with push notifications/Deployment, analytics and uptime monitoring

Systems built

What is already running

We don't offer a technology until we have put it into production ourselves. These systems run on real data, with real integrations and real users.

Health platform

Connects two independent wearable platforms over OAuth, ingests measurements daily, builds a plan and a weekly report from them, and notifies the user by web push. Twenty related tables, row-level security, installable web app.

Public tender monitoring

Collects published tenders daily, filters them against a company profile, and sends a summary covering only the relevant ones. Built as a subscription system rather than a one-off report.

Who is behind Umeda

Nobody hands you off after signing

Tim Papež

Founder

Runs a company of more than 80 people. Processes an entire team relies on every day.

Digitised that company end to end. From quote and contract through to invoice, report, and archive. Documents fill themselves in, mail sorts itself, data moves between systems without a person.

Builds systems that run in production. Third-party integrations, scheduled jobs, AI writing into the database, push notifications.

Seven years working across the world. Dubai, London, France, Singapore, and most of Europe.

I run Umeda alongside a company that employs more than eighty people. That taught me something an agency cannot: what a process looks like when eighty people use it every day, and what happens when one step in it breaks.

I digitised that company myself. Quotes and contracts that fill themselves from data. Invoices without retyping. Mail that sorts itself. Reports that arrive before anyone asks. Several hundred hours a year nobody spends any more. I built it because it was my own problem to solve — and only then offered it to others.

Seven years of work took me to Dubai, London, France, Singapore, and most of Europe. I have sat across the table from people running large companies, and over the years built the automation and digitisation behind their processes. So I know what you actually care about on a call: what it costs, when it ships, and whether it works.

At Umeda we assemble the team a project needs. The people in the first call are the people who build — once the contract is signed, you are not handed to someone you have never met.

Umeda is a district in Osaka. For centuries it was marshland. They filled it in, laid foundations, and built one of the densest city centres in the world on top of it.

Hence the name. Because I believe you can build something large out of nothing — with the right team, and enough patience to lay foundations while there is still nothing to see above ground.

Umeda is backed by TBP Group d.o.o., an established company. Contracts, invoicing, and liability are handled the way you would expect from a serious partner.

How we work

Four steps, no surprises

01

Call

Thirty minutes. Tell us what is blocking you. If we are not the right fit, we say so on that call and point you elsewhere.

02

Fixed-price proposal

Within three business days you get scope, price, and timeline. The price does not move during the project. If scope grows, you approve it in writing before any work starts.

03

Build

You see a working version mid-project, not at the end. A short written progress note once a week.

04

Launch and handover

We deploy to your infrastructure, set up monitoring, and walk your team through it. Every credential and repository is yours, not ours.

Frequently asked

What you are probably wondering

Do you do design as well?
Yes. Design and build are one thing here — you do not get a plan someone else has to execute. If you already have a visual identity, we work within it.
Who owns the accounts and where does it run?
Every account, domain, repository, and credential is yours, in your name. We deploy to whichever provider suits you. If we part ways, you owe nothing and lose nothing.
Fixed price or hourly?
Projects are fixed price, and the price does not move during the build. If scope grows, you approve it in writing before any work starts. Only maintenance is billed by the hour.
What if the project isn't finished?
Payment is split into milestones tied to delivered work, not elapsed time. Whatever is built by the point of exit stays yours, with the code and the credentials.
What do you build with?
Postgres and Supabase for data, modern web frameworks for interfaces, serverless functions for logic, Netlify or Vercel for deployment. We pick what you will be able to maintain, not what is currently fashionable.
Do you work with smaller companies?
Yes. The lowest entry point is a technical audit for a few hundred dollars. If a project is smaller than what we can sensibly deliver, we say so on the first call and point you elsewhere.
Where are you and how do we work together?
Remote, with clients across several time zones. You get a short written progress note once a week, and we are reachable by email or chat in between. Calls happen when they are needed, not on a schedule.
